We have two payout modes for withdrawing funds from the trading account. The withdrawn amount will be credited to your primary bank account.


You may withdraw the funds from either of the following modes without paying any charges.


1. Instant withdrawal - With Instant withdrawal, you can withdraw from ₹100 up to ₹5 lakhs per day from your securities and commodities wallet. The amount will be credited to the primary bank account within 15 minutes after requesting a payout. 

  • IMPS mode must be active in your bank account.
  • The used margin shows you the total amount that you have utilized against any open or closed positions, which need to be zero.
  • Positions that are still open and not squared off should be exited before placing an instant withdrawal request.

2. Standard withdrawal -  You can withdraw funds starting from ₹100 up to any amount.

  • Standard withdrawal requests can be initiated anytime.
  • The funds will be credited to the primary bank account by 3:00 pm on working days.
  • Standard withdrawal can be modified or deleted until the request is processed.

Instant withdrawal flow

Step 1: Log in to the Upstox app using your 6-digit PIN or Biometrics.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Account’ tab.

Step 3: Click on ‘Withdraw funds’

Step 4: Enter the amount as per the 'Withdrawable funds' and then click on 'Continue'.

Step 5: Click on ‘Confirm Withdrawal’.

Step 6: You can check the expected payout date and time.

Standard withdrawal flow


Step 1: Login to the Upstox app using your 6-digit Pin or Biometric.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Account’ tab


Step 3: Click on ‘Withdraw funds’


Step 4: Enter the amount as per the ‘Available to Withdraw’


Step 5: Click on ‘Confirm withdrawal’ 

Step 6: You can check the expected Payout date and time.


That's it. Your request for withdrawing funds is placed
