To comply with regulatory mandates, Upstox may occasionally reach out and request you to resubmit specific documents. In this article we will cover the common scenarios in which Upstox will reach out to you to resubmit documents and the required mandatory documents for the same.

A. Resubmission of documents due to invalid PAN details

If we don’t have your updated/valid PAN, your account will become inactive and Upstox will request you to submit a copy of your PAN to reactivate your account.


B. Resubmission of documents to change/add new bank

When you want to change or add a new bank account on Upstox, you will be asked to resubmit any one of the following Address Proof documents along with any one of the Bank Proof documents.

  • Address Proof Documents - Aadhaar Card or Voter ID


 

  • Bank Proof  Documents - Passbook page or bank statement



C. Resubmission of documents to activate a segment

When you want to activate F&O trading on Upstox you will be asked to resubmit any one of the following Income Proof documents

  • Bank statement for the last 6 months
  • 3 months salary slip/certificate
  • ITR for the latest financial year
  • Form 16





D. Resubmission of documents to change correspondence address and/or permanent address
When you want to change your registered correspondence and/or permanent address on Upstox you will be asked to resubmit any one of the following Address Proof documents

  • Aadhaar Card
  • Voter ID

E. Resubmission of documents for dormant account reactivation over 24 Months

When your account becomes inactive/dormant due to inactivity for over 24 months, you need to submit the following documents to reactivate your account.

  1. PAN Card: Ensure that all submitted details match PAN
  2. Address Proof: Aadhar Card or Voter ID
  3. Bank Proof: A detailed passbook page or a bank statement with your name IFSC, account number, bank name, and a stamp or logo.
  4. Any one of the below Income Proof documents required to activate F&O (Derivatives Segment) trading:
  • Bank statement for the last 6 months
  • 3 months salary slip/certificate
  • ITR for the latest financial year
  • Form 16
