You can refer your friends from the ‘Rewards and Referrals’ page on the Upstox app.

If you’re using a 4.0 version of the Upstox app,then follow the below steps:

Step 1: Login to the Upstox app using your 6-digit PIN or Biometrics.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Account’ at the bottom of the screen.

Step 3: Click on 'Rewards'.

 Step 4: You have two option to invite user :

  • Share link via WhatsApp

  • Share using other apps

If you click on ‘Share link via WhatsApp’, a pop up appears where you can invite your friends via WhatsApp.


If you click on “Share using other apps” a pop up appears where you can invite via different methods.

Note: The amount that is visible on your screen will be the referral reward eligible for you.

Once the user receives the referral link via WhatsApp or any other apps, they need to click on the link, follow the signup process and complete opening an Upstox account.


If you’re using a 3.0 version of the Upstox app,then follow the below steps:

If you wish to refer your friend or someone from your family to Upstox, follow these simple 5 steps! 

Step 1: Login to the Upstox app using your 6-digit PIN or biometrics.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Profile’ icon.

Step 3: Click on ‘Refer and Earn’.

Step 4: Click on ‘Send invite’.


Step 5: Enter the name and mobile number. Click on “Send Invite” or copy the link and share it with your friends/family.


When you share your referral link to your friend and they signup using your referral link the user is mapped under you (becomes your referral). 


Few things to keep in mind:

  1. The referral link will only be valid for 7 days. This means your referred friend must open an Upstox account within 7 days of signing up for you to be eligible to earn a reward.

  2. If your friend does not complete the account opening process within 7 days, they will not be mapped under you even if you resend the link after 7 days and will become a regular non-referral lead in our system.

  3. The 'Refer and Earn' reward will be as per the offer that was active when your invited friend successfully completed their mobile number & email verification via OTP, for an Upstox account.

  4. Referral rewards will only be valid for the first 10 successful referrals per month.Thereafter,there shall be no further rewards for any friends you refer in that month.Successful referrals mean that the referred person successfully opens their Upstox account.

  5. You will only get your referral reward once your referred friend signs up on Upstox by submitting their mobile number and verifying their email address with an OTP and after they successfully open their account (within 7 days of signing up with the link).
