If you’re using an older version of the Upstox app, read this. 

If your request to activate a segment got rejected, it could be due to a missing document or failure to send the application successfully. You will get to know about the reasons because of which your request got rejected on your email as well in the segments section in the profile tab.


Rejected segment activation request -

 

 

In this case, you will need to place your segment activation request again by clicking on activate segment on the above screen from your app.

Here are the steps how you can check for the same:

1)Login to the Upstox app using your 6-digit Pin or Biometrics.

 

2) Once you have logged in, click on the Avatar/ Name initial on the top left corner of your screen. 

3)  Click ‘Account’ and then ‘Profile’. 

4) Click ‘My Trading Segment’ under Accounts. It will redirect you to the segment activation page.

 

 

 5) Once you scroll down,  you can see the reason for the rejection. 

In this case, you will need to place your segment activation request again by clicking on ‘Activate Segment’ on the above screen from your app.
