You can submit ANY ONE of the following documents as income proof to trade in F&O.
- Bank statement of last 6 months
- Salary slip of last 3 months
- Salary certificate of last 3 months
- ITR of the latest financial year
- Demat Holding Statement of last 3 months
- Form 16 (Part A or B) of the most recent tax year
- Latest Net Worth Certificate
Please ensure the document you submit follows the eligibility criteria mentioned below:
1. Bank Statement
- Should be of the last 6 months
- At least ONE transaction should be above ₹5000
- Bank account number and bank name should be visible on the bank statement
- Overdraft bank accounts can be accepted as income proof with positive opening balance
- Bank account category should be savings or current account. Current account should be on individual applicant name only
- Bank statement should have the name of person who is opening the account
2. Salary Slip
- One salary slip from the last 3 months
- Salary slip should be issued on the name of the person who is opening the account or has an account with upstox
- Company's name should be printed on it
- Net or gross salary should be ₹5000 or above
3. Salary Certificate
- Should be on the company's letter head
- Should be of the last 3 months
- Calculation of salary should be visible
- Certificate should be issued on the name of the person who is opening the account or has an account with upstox
4. Income Tax Returns
- ITR of the latest financial year
- Name should be clearly visible and should be the same as the registered name with Upstox
- ITR of the latest financial year OR Assessment year can be accepted as income proof
- PAN, computation and acknowledgement number should be available in the submitted proof
5. Demat Holding Statement
- Name on the DP holding statement should be clearly visible and should be the same as the registered name on Upstox
- DP holding statement must be of the last 3 months
- Holding value should be above ₹5000 (irrespective of the broker)
- The company logo/stamp should be clearly visible
6. Form 16
- Name and PAN of the employee and employers should be clearly visible
- The name and PAN of the employer/deductor should be clearly visible
- Form 16 should be the latest financial year OR assessment year
- Computation, authorised signature and acknowledgement on Form 16 is mandatory
7. Networth Certificate
- Should be of the latest net worth (not older than 6 months)
- Should contain applicant’s name
- Stamp and signature of person authorising the certificate
