Setting Your UPI ID
Unified Payments Interface (UPI) is a payment mode that enables you to make instant transfers at any time. The National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) has authorized several payment service providers (PSPs) to set up UPI IDs. When you set up a UPI app, it will generate your Virtual Payment Address (VPA).
For example, in the BHIM app, your default VPA will be your mobile number followed by "@upi." If your mobile number is 123456789, your VPA will be 123456789@upi.
