If my UPI payment has failed, why haven’t I received my refund yet?

If your payment request has failed, and money is deducted then the refund turnaround time (TAT ) depends on the type of failure. 

• If the failure has happened at the payment gateway level or due to third-party validation, then a refund happens instantly. 
  
• If the failure happens at the customer’s bank end, then TAT generally depends on the customer’s bank. Some banks refund the money within 24 hours and some take 5-7 working days to refund it.
