If my UPI payment has failed, why haven’t I received my refund yet?

If your payment request has failed, and money is deducted then the refund turnaround time (TAT ) depends on the type of failure. 

If the failure has happened at the payment gateway level or due to third-party validation, then a refund happens instantly. 

If the failure happens at the customer’s bank end, then TAT generally depends on the customer’s bank. Some banks refund the money within 24 hours and some take 5-7 working days to refund it.
