Unfortunately, it is not possible to add funds to your Upstox account using UPI, NetBanking, NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, or Cheque from an unregistered bank account.

What Happens in This Case?

  1. Funds Cannot Be Credited:

    • Payments from unregistered bank accounts will not be credited to your Upstox trading account.
    • The funds will be placed on hold.

  2. Refund Process:

    • The payment will be refunded to the same bank account from which it originated.
    • To initiate the refund, kindly provide the following details:
      • Beneficiary Name
      • Account Number
      • IFSC Code
    • After receiving the correct details, the refund will be processed within 24 to 48 working hours.

Alternative Solution

If you wish to use these funds for trading:

  1. Add the unregistered bank account as a secondary bank account in your Upstox account.
  2. Once the account is added and verified, you can transfer or add funds without any issues.

This ensures that future transactions from this bank account are seamlessly credited to your trading account.
