- Step-up SIP: It allows you to gradually increase your SIP amount at regular intervals, helping you grow your investments in line with your financial goals.
- To add a step-up to a new Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) on Upstox, follow these steps:
1. Log in to the new Upstox app with your credentials.
2. If you’re on the ‘Upstox for investors’ mode you’ll see a ‘Mutual Fund’ section on the bottom navigation bar. If you’re on the ‘Upstox Pro for traders’ tab the ‘Mutual Fund’ section can be found in the ‘Discover’ section.
3. In the Mutual Funds section, search for the fund you wish to create an SIP in.
4. Once you’ve found the fund, click on ‘SIP’ to begin the setup.
5. Enter the amount you want to invest in the SIP. Click on ‘Add’ to enable the step-up for your SIP.
6. Choose the step-up details, either by ‘Percentage’ or ‘Amount’, and set the frequency (e.g., every 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year).
7. Once the step-up is added, you will be able to see the details. You can also edit or delete the step-up if needed. Click ‘Continue’ to proceed.
8. Review all your SIP details before confirming. Click on ‘Confirm to buy’ to finalise the SIP setup.
9. Based on your payment preference, you’ll be redirected to the UPI or Net Banking page to make the initial payment to activate the SIP.

10. Once the payment is made, your order will be placed successfully with AutoSIP and the step-up added.
11. Click on ‘View SIP’ to check your order history and track your SIP.
