A new regulation set to take effect on 7th November '24 will simplify the MTF process for users. Previously, investors were required to authorise their MTF trades at the end of each trading day (EOD). Under the new regulation, this end-of-day authorisation will no longer be necessary, as MTF trades will be automatically pledged with the Central Depository Services Limited (CDSL). This update aims to streamline trading processes and reduce manual intervention.
What is the new MTF regulation? Will I still need to authorise my MTF trades?
