How to disable a segment using Kill Switch when you have Open Orders?

If you have ‘Open Orders’ and you wish to disable a segment using ‘Kill Switch’ your open orders will be auto cancelled. Please follow these steps to disable a segment:
Step 1: Login to the Upstox app using your 6-digit PIN or Biometrics.

Step 2: Once you login, click on ‘Account’.

Step 3: Click on ‘Profile’.

Step 4: Click on ‘Trading segments’ under ‘Profile’. You will be redirected to the segment activation page.

Step 5: Click on ‘Kill Switch’ to disable the segment.

Step 6: Click on any active segment that you want to disable.Then click on save changes.

Step 7: You will get an alert regarding existing open orders that will be auto-cancelled. Click on ‘I understand’ to proceed.

Step 8: Enter the 6-digit OTP sent to your registered email ID.Then click on ‘Continue’.

Step 9: You have successfully disabled your active segment.

Note: You can re-enable your segment after 12 hours from the last date and time when you disabled.
