What are the applicable charges for transacting in T-Bills, SDLs and Government bonds?

Upstox charges a brokerage fee of 0.06% of the allotment amount, plus 18% GST on the brokerage and a DP (Depository Participant) fee of ₹18.50.

For example, let's say you have applied for 100 units of T-Bills at a cut-off price of ₹100 and an allotment price of ₹98:

The total charges will be as follows:

- Brokerage: 0.06% of (₹98 * 100 units) = ₹5.88

- GST on brokerage: 18% of ₹5.88 = ₹1.06

- DP charges: ₹18.50 + GST = ₹21.83

So the total charges will be: ₹5.88 + ₹1.06 + ₹21.83 = ₹28.77.
