Kindly follow the steps mentioned below to submit your bank statement automatically.
Step 5: Click on ‘Enable segment’ for the segment you want to activate.
Step 6: Select ‘Bank Statement’ and then click on ‘Continue’.
Step 7: Select your ‘Primary Bank’ listed with Upstox.Then click on ‘Continue’.
Note: Your bank statement should be of the last 6 months with at least 1 transaction of ₹5000 or more.
Step 8: Select ‘Automatically fetch’ and then click on ‘Continue’.
Step 9: Log in with the mobile number registered with your bank and then click ‘Begin’.
Step 10: Enter the 6-digit OTP sent to your bank registered mobile number, then click on ‘Verify OTP’.
Step 11: Select bank account and then click ‘Continue’.
Step 12: Enter OTP sent to your bank registered mobile number, then click on ‘Continue’.
Step 13: Click on ‘Approve’ to share a statement from bank to Upstox.
Step 14: Click on ‘Yes, share’.
Step 15: Once approved, your bank statement data will be shared with Upstox shortly.
Step 16: Enter the 6-digit OTP sent to your Upstox registered mobile number and email id.
Step 17: Once your request has been placed successfully, it will take about 24-48 working hours for the segments to get activated. We will update you over email / SMS about the status of your request.
To take your bank statements directly from the bank, we have tied up with a third party vendor application SETU. This app will not store your data.
In the following two cases, the eSign step is not needed. You just need to upload the necessary income proof and your request will be placed:
If you have submitted your consent to activate F&O while opening your Upstox account.
If your segment activation request has been rejected previously and you wish to resubmit your request
