Post authorization is done at the end of the day because by this time the broker (i.e. Upstox) knows the pre-authorisation request has failed from CDSL. Also the authorization for all trades can be done in a single request. This will only take a few seconds where you need to type in the OTP sent by CDSL to authorize your sell transactions.
