Why is the contract note is delayed?

A contract note is a confirmation of all your trades done on a particular day. Whenever you trade, a contract note will be sent to your registered email ID within 24 hrs. This is as per the format prescribed by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).


If a Contract note is not received in the email, please check the spam/junk folders.


You can also download the contract note from the Mobile application reports section or on desktop via this link account.upstox.com.


To check and download reports from our web portal, follow these steps


Step 1: Login to account.upstox.com using your registered mobile number or scan the QR code.



Step 2: Click on the reports.



Step 3: Select Miscellaneous.



Step 4: Select the required segment ,report,date & year.



Step 5: In Report type select 'CONTRACT'.



Step 6: Click on 'Get report' to download the contract note.

Note: To access contract note, use your PAN (lowercase). For e.g. if your PAN is ABCD1234X, enter the password when prompted as abcd1234x.
