To assist traders in calculating their P&L for tax purposes, Upstox has partnered with Quicko, a paperless & hassle-free tax planning online platform.
To access Quicko from 4.0 mobile app, follow the steps below.
1 .Login to the Upstox app using your 6-digit PIN or biometrics.
2. Select ‘My Account’ under 'Profile'.
3. Click on 'Reports’.
4. Under Reports, select ‘Profit & Loss Report’.
5.Under ‘Profit & Loss’ you will see an option redirecting to Quicko.
6.Once you click on this button, you will be redirected to the Quicko Portal where you can enter necessary tax details and also you will get the option to import the tax file. This file can be downloaded from the tax menu shown in the screen above.
To access Quicko from 3.0 mobile app, follow the steps below (steps for new app mentioned after these):
1.Login to the Upstox app using your 6-digit Pin or Biometrics.
2.Click ‘Profile’ and select ‘Report & Corp Actions’
3.Click on the ‘Reports’ tab .
4.Under Report select Profit & loss.
5.Under ‘Profit & Loss (P&L)’ you will see an option redirecting to Quicko.
6.Once you click on this button, you will be redirected to the ‘Quicko Portal’ where you can enter relevant tax details and also you will get the option to import the tax file. This file can be downloaded from the tax menu shown in the screen above.
Steps to follow on the Quicko Portal
1. Once you are redirected to the Quicko portal you need to enter your PAN details and click on ‘Next.’
2. On the next page, your details will be displayed which you will have to confirm by clicking on ‘Yes, that’s me’ if the details are correct.
3. On the home page, click on the ‘Explore’ option.
4.Select ‘Trading Income’ from the menu.
5.Click on ‘Upload’
6. Select ‘Import from Broker.’
7.Select ‘Upstox.’
8. Upload the file via the ‘download’ option available on Upstox.
