What is the validity of a GTT order?

A GTT order can be placed as an intraday or delivery. If placed intraday, the order shall be canceled (if not triggered or traded) at the end of the trading session (i.e., around 3:15 pm).

1. If the GTT delivery order is placed for equity (NSE and BSE): 

a. The order will be valid for 365 days from the date of placement.

2. If the GTT delivery order is placed for futures and options (NSE Stock and Index, Currency, and MCX segments):

a. The order will expire at the end of the expiry day for the respective scrip.
