How to activate MTF?

Activating MTF on Upstox is paperless, quick, easy and a one-time process, just follow these steps:

Step 1: Log into your Upstox  account

Step 2: Select an MTF scrip which you want to buy.

Step 3: Click on Buy

Step 4: Click on ‘Delivery’ and then click on ‘Try margin trading facility’ to activate MTF. 

Step 5: Once you click on ‘Try margin trading facility’ you will get to see conditions related to MTF and click on ‘Continue’.

Step 6: Read & accept the terms and conditions and click on ‘Continue to OTP’.

Step 7: The OTP will be sent to your registered Mobile number and E-mail address. Enter it and click on ‘Submit’.

Step 8:Once activated, you’re in full control of how and where you want to use this service. You’ll see an option to toggle MTF On/Off on every transaction
