When you place a valid order, the order is sent to the Exchange, and an order number is generated. You can modify the order as per the guidelines provided by the Exchange. This means order attributes related to price, quantity, and time can be modified, but others such as Side (Buy/Sell) and Product Type (Delivery/Intraday) cannot be modified.
