What are the market timings?

Exchange trading takes place on all the days of the week (except Saturdays and Sundays and exchange holidays).

Pre-open Session held between 09:00 hrs and 09:08 hrs for order entry and modification.

Pre-open order matching starts immediately after the closure of the Pre-open order entry.

Regular trading session : 

 For Cash/Equity, Future and Options :

1. Market Open: 09:15 hrs
   
2. Market Close : 15:30 hrs
3. The Post Market hrs held between 15.40 hrs and 16.00 hrs

For Currency :

1. Market Open: 09:00 hrs
2. Market Close: 17.00 hrs

MCX Time: 

1. Market Open: 09:00 hrs
2. Market Close: 23:30 hrs (Upto 23:55 PM on account of daylight savings typically between every November and March of the following year).
