When submitting your income proof, it is essential to have the right documents for your request to get approved.


Documents required as income proof

You can submit any one of the following documents:

  1. Bank statement of the last six months

  2. Latest salary slip 

  3. Income Tax Return statement of the latest year (Form 16 or ITRV)

Points to consider when submitting your income proof


Bank Statement 

  • Should be of the latest 6 months at least
  • Should have a minimum closing balance of about ₹10,000
  • Should contain your name
  • Should contain bank account number and IFSC 
  • Bank name and bank logo/stamp should be clearly visible


Salary Slip

  • Should be from the last 3 months
  • Should be of your name
  • Company name/logo should be clearly visible


Income Tax Returns

  • Should be of the latest Financial year
  • Should contain your name
