While trying to login to our new app, you might encounter the error code 1017074 (as shown in screenshot below). This error occurs when you have multiple Upstox accounts linked to a particular mobile number. 





In our new app only a single mobile number can be linked to a single Upstox account (User ID). Hence, you would need to update a unique mobile number linked/registered to each of your Upstox accounts. 


To update your linked/registered mobile number with Upstox easily, follow the below steps via our older app. After your mobile number is updated, you would then be able to login to our new app.



Step 1: Log into your Upstox account on our older mobile app and go to the ‘Profile’ section. 


Step 2: Click on the update button



Step 3: Enter the new mobile number that you wish to link to your Upstox account


Step 4: Enter the OTP received on the new number that you wish to link


Step 5: Your request will be placed successfully and if everything is okay your new mobile will be linked to your Upstox account within the next 24-48 working hours! You will also receive a message from our end to confirm the same

 

 

The changes will be updated in the next 24-48 working hours.


After your mobile number is updated, you would then be able to login to our new app with the updated mobile number.
