If you are unable to reset your password via the mobile application or the web portal and encounter the error code 1017055, we request you to try to login after 24 to 48 hours as your account activation is in process.

Please note the below important details: 

  • It generally takes 24 to 48 working hours for your account to be opened after you have applied online.
  • You will receive a welcome email (from support@upstox.com) on your registered email address within this timeframe with your account login details (including password)
  • Depending on your email inbox settings, this email may also be sent to your spam/junk mail and request you to check the same.

Note: You might receive the UCC (Unique Client Code) via an email from the Exchange (such as NSE) before the account activation timeline mentioned above. If you try to login at that time with the UCC, you will receive an error as your account activation is still in process.

 

In case you don’t receive your account login details (including password) in 24 to 48 working hours via the welcome email from support@upstox.com, we request you to reset your password from the Upstox app or our web portal (pro.upstox.com)
