If you’re using an older version of the Upstox app, read this. 

Follow these steps to unblock your account: 

Note: We block your account after two failed login attempts. 

1)Enter your User ID and click on ‘Forgot password’. 

2)Enter your year of birth and click on ‘Verify OTP’ in the next step. 

 

3)Enter the OTP you’ll receive on your registered Email ID and mobile number.


4)Enter a new password of your choice, confirm it and click on ‘Reset password’.

5)Your new password should meet the following criteria:

  • At least one uppercase alphabet
  • At least one special character (!@#$%*-+=)
  • At least two digits (1234567890)
  • At least one lowercase alphabet
  • Characters- minimum 8 and a maximum of 12
  • New password cannot be the same as your older passwords
  • Do not use your name or account details in your password
  • New password cannot be the same as your older passwords
