If you’re using an older version of the Upstox app, read this.

You will be unable to place a payout request if a settlement is pending and the settlement of funds are decided by the Exchange/SEBI as T+2 (trading + 2) working days for Equities & T+1 (trading + 2) working days for the F&O segment. 

E.g. For a sale transaction on a Monday amounting to  ₹1000, it would reflect by EOD in your ledger but you’ll be able to withdraw only on Wednesday i.e. T+2 working days.

Meanwhile, you can withdraw the available balance by placing a withdrawal request from the Upstox trading platform using the following steps:

1) Log in with your User ID and password and click on ‘Funds’.

2) After that, select the ‘Funds’ tab, select the Exchange and click ‘Withdraw’.


3) Enter the amount available to withdraw and submit the request.

4) In the Web portal, log in with the User ID and password to click ‘Fund’. After that, select the Exchange and click ‘Withdraw Funds’


5) Enter the amount available to withdraw and submit the request.

Meanwhile, you can withdraw the available wallet balance by placing a withdrawal request from our trading platform through these steps:

1) Login to the Upstox app using your 6-digit Pin or Biometrics. then click on the Name icon (top left corner of the screen) and you will be able to see the Wallet section (as shown in below image).


2) After that, select the Exchange and click ‘Withdraw Funds’.




3) In order to check your Withdrawable funds click on ’here’ below for the Current Withdrawal breakdown. Here you will see Withdrawable funds which can be withdrawn.

4) Enter the Withdrawable funds and click on continue.

5) Next, confirm the withdrawal by checking all the details once again.

6) The withdrawal request is now placed.

7) In the Web portal, log in with the User ID and password and click on ‘Funds’ on the Left-side into which the Securities and Commodities section is there. After that, select the desired segment to withdraw funds and click on ‘Withdraw Funds’.



8) Enter the amount available to withdraw and submit the request.
