There is a specific timeframe for money to be transferred from your bank account to your Upstox account, depending on the mode of transfer. Sometimes transfers can be delayed due to technical issues at the bank's or at the gateway's end too.

Note: Keep in mind that even in the event your transaction didn’t go through or has failed, your money is safe. Your amount will be refunded back to your bank account instantly or within 3 to 5 working days.
